TESTIMONIALS

Shannon W.

I cannot put into words how grateful I am for Britta’s class. I absolutely loved it.

Barbara E. (Fiction)

I loved my class with Britta. Not only does she teach a lot about writing, she is very encouraging and supportive in a way that keeps you writing. I would definitely recommend her class to anyone who thinks they might like to create stories.

Brian D. (Fiction)

Britta has a deep understanding of craft and has helped me to work through complicated issues with character motivation and pacing. In addition to her technical knowledge, she is patient and her passion for writing has been a real motivator for me.

Vera N. (Fiction)

Britta has a gift of profoundly understanding the essence of a story. While she has a full grasp of all the elements of crafting a story, working with her never felt technical. I was glad that her feedback didn’t push me in a certain direction, but instead helped me to identify the missing elements of my story. Being a writer herself, she truly understands the struggle and her optimistic personality is very motivational. I am grateful for her help navigating on my path to uncovering the story I set out to tell.

Jeanette Z. (Fiction)

I always welcom Britta’s feedback. She is diplomatic and friendly and offers specific concrete suggestions for improving my writing.”

Jayshiro Tashiro PhD, BA, BSN, RN (Fiction)

I feel that Britta has a very special talent for engaging other writers and working with them. Her written critiques are thorough, but also wonderfully thoughtful and inclusive of both the author’s possible artistic intentions as well as the author’s personal demeanor, ethnocultural perspectives, gender identity perspectives, and political preferences.

Mary R. (Creative Nonfiction)

Britta helped me see the big picture of my own story.
I was just writing in the dark.
